Tsi and I woke up early to meet our MTBiker NFF (New Found Friends) Ana, Allan Vincent and Allan P. at Manila Memorial at 6:30am this morning.  We wanted to do the sabak trails in Filinvest, Alabang but because of last night’s rain,  we decided to just ride to Daang Hari to Molino.

It was my first time to use my MTB in Daang Hari.  According to Allan the route is about 20kms roundtrip.  It was not as tough as I thought before.  There were hills that definitely shoot up my heart rate.  But for the regular roadies and mountain bikers that I encountered this morning,  it was absolutely nothing to them.

I also saw the pretty ladies of Team David Salon with David riding with them!  I envy those strong girls and wish I could be in their team but since I use MTB not a road bike,  it will forever remain a dream.

Took a short break twice during the ride.  Once at a small cafe that serves hot pandesal and the other when we were returning back.  It’s at the area where a lot cyclists make tambay, even sell jerseys and shorts.  Saw my badminton friend Bong, who used to be president of Rizal Badminton Club.

Enjoying this sport tremendously.  I am looking forward to doing the Sabak trails next saturday morning.  Should be a good preparation for my 10-miler La Salle Run on sunday, July 13.

meryenda nahh!

Much anticipated stop-over at Fulton St. Cafe.  Allan told us the pandesal is good!  This is on the right side of Daang Hari if you are coming from Alabang to Molino.

ubos after 1 minute!

Pramis the pandesal is soft and delicious!  They are served hot too.

side view naman jaaan

Smiling but deep inside scared of the return when we do the turn-around in Molino.  The cafe is located at the high point of the incline.  You get to watch a lot of bikers claim victory or defeat as they climb it.  I observed though that most roadies find it easy. Super sanay na talaga.

peace allan!

With the two Allans.  My cousin Tsi was the one who took the picture.  Ana had to return early because she has work.  Sagabal talaga sa trabaho ang bisikleta!
